new breed of job sites
Quite a few of businesses crawling the web for job postings and building interesting applications. Seems like everyone feels that this space has a lot of room for improvement. Here are couple of crawl/index based job sites i have seen. If you know anymore please post in comments.
Indeed - claims to have 2.6 Million job listings, kinda hard to believe
WorkZoo - trying to build some cool apps around identifying new jobs, where the jobs are, etc. they have their own blog too.

We’re currently running at between 2.5M to 2.8M job listings currently, on SimplyHired.com.
We should probably be increasing that gradually over the next few weeks, once we stabilize our crawl & get most of the hang issues worked out.
Note that the # will vary depending on how quickly jobs expire at certain job boards, and also based on how many boards/employers post duplicate listings with slight variations. We do a pretty good job on the de-duping, but sometimes the employers may vary the description intentionally and/or list frequently in order to get higher visibility.
Not really our philosophy with respect to relevance there, but that’s just how the market functions right now. We hope to change that quite a bit though… see our SimplyBlog for more thoughts on this).

Ravi:
Fetchster.com: We’re a job search engine for Minnesota - spidering technology. We hover around 6500-7000 listings for the state. Still well behind AJB for the statewide listings, but we’ve long surpassed Monster and Careerbuilder for Minnesota jobs.
