Y! Messenger evilness has been blogged before
I should have kept up to date with jeremy’s blog. He already blogged about this issue. I agree with his stance. I disagree with these practices and dislike them. But, it seems like this is a faily common evil practice around.
Anyway, I think i have a decent guess about how my messenger got upgraded. I re-installed Yahoo Music Engine because i was having some issues with the existing one. This i think “bundled” the new messenger.
There are a lot of neat things with the new messenger, but to me it feels like this messenger has feature bloat.
Is it possible to have a feature rich client that is simple and uncluttered?
